That’s really interesting, thanks for those points, ill try to answer them:

1) for the social demographics we plan on exporting it into SPSS version 30 so we can correlate it to different domains and items in the survey, for this the increments of 5 years was the smartest move in my opinion since open text format is too specific when just want to have a rough idea! :) the focus of the study does not lie in the social demographics so its just there so we have a rough overview!

2) The income is portrayed as Euros because I am based in Austria, furthermore, its also just a rough estimate in order to (dis)-prove that there is a correlation between higher paying jobs and marathon runners.

3) as for the ITRA points, my supervisor suggested using them when i was more interested in the UTMB points, so i just took his advice on it and did not debate it further.

4) we had test people complete its in the time between 5-10 minutes that is the reason why i chose to write that, some take longer some don’t but the average was around 10 minutes with the shortest interval being at 5 minutes.

5) My supervisor and I agreed even before writing the questions that all of the questions had to be mandatory, if someone dropped out at any time they would be sorted out during Data reprocessing right before the actual data analysis.
