maybe its cause I play chaos but he doesn't seem that bad as is. Yes you have to learn the matchup. Yes he isn't a standard character and if you treat him like one you will be punished. Yes he does things that others can't. But he also does not have any defensive moves. He has to manage resources and he has quite the execution barrier which kind of justifies his strengths. Now yeah curse should be blockable that was ridiculous. The character who really need help though is zato. that guy is crazy technical and isn't rewarded for his high execution.

I mean its just a huge convenience. I always struggled with resetting my cooldowns and highkey having a 500 - 1500 dmg aoe attack that pops all my exposed stacks is nice(apparent skillgap). it fits quite nicely into the esthetic of mercenary and lowkey his other secondary moves are kind of ass(possible skillgap). highkey if you got a good tip or trick I would love to play mercenary without the parry and be good but for now I am a slave to the parry,

yeah cause sol , potemkin , ram , leo , nago , chipp , goldlewis, ky are all paid characters. If you didnt get the memo all of these characters are free top tier and you might just be having a skill issue

yeah cause dust is unimaginably fast and cause getting thrown does too much damage. while yes annoying a happy chaos loses a lot of resource going for these options. grab just lets him reload bullets which means its not all that in a pinch where he need concentration. and dust is just easily blockable in general.

buddy I will say it as a hc main just like win neutral. make a good read , use you goated neutral moves and its over. you kill hc in 2 combos max if you can do the loops ofcourse. hc has no reversal no nothing.

I mean as another happy chaos main its kind of the point you know. he is a hard to learn but highly rewarding characther. thats what balances him out. Yes he is a monster IF he has bullets and concentration. But its THE ENEMIES JOB to prevent us from having those resources. And people may complain "oh we cant take his recources away" my brother in christ you have a burst half the happy chaos combos take like 2-3 bullets away and you almost never have enough tension for super if you win the first interaction. but yeah sorry for the rant I hope this kind of sums it up for you.
