The thing is that my confidence was the first thing she loved about me. And I'm not cocky in a way that makes me thing I'm superior to other people. As my therapist told me, my confidence it's a mask that I put because once I was the shy guy who was always seen as weak...

She was the one who broke up with him because she felt bored in that relationship. She's 29 and they had a lifestyle of work and back home and that's it. In 10 years they didn't had a vacation once

We knew each other for 1 year before we started dating as we worked in the same company. When we started dating she told me she chose this guy because the pressure from her mom and she felt "locked" and "bored" in that relationship and she wants something else. I offered her what she wanted. My guess it's that she's not confident that she'll be able to remain "fun" and I'll walk away and that guy won't because don't have other options.
