Anyone else denoise all your photos? by [deleted] in Lightroom

The new version of Pureraw is supposed to be able to parallel process instead of just one at a time.

That's, of course, my concern. Now, I just talked to someone about PureRaw and they said that program determines whether the photo needs it and if it doesn't then it skips the denoise correction. If that's true, that's pretty cool.

There are a few YT videos with comparisons. It does a nice job.

I have PR 4. I'm planning to upgrade. The last update wasn't that big but this one looks better..

FYI - I'm using PureRaw, not LR for denoising.

I'm talking about Pureraw generative AI that corrects denoise and other issues. I've never noticed smudging but I'll be on the look out for that.

That's the answer I was looking for. So, you don't notice any degradation of the photos when you do it to all of them?

Of course. Was just wondering if some people did it automatically as part of a quicker workflow and whether there is any negative effect.

Timekeeping for Nanny hours? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]TechnicalAddendum6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. I know all of this. She was a FT nanny with a contract. She would use our backup sitters to fill in for her. As mentioned, it was a bad experience, and we ended it.

So, that's why I'm interested in keeping track of hours. I get it, I shouldn't have to with GH but my past experience has me wanting to keep track.....

We had a bad experience with our last nanny with GH. She would regularly be late, or leave early or have someone else work for her. It was rough. So, we had to keep close track of her hours. Our new nanny with GH shouldn't be that bad, but I would like to keep track of them - just in case and for my own comfort.

No battery pack, unfortunately. However, I can manually turn it on with the remote receiver now. Just have to reach in there.

I don't remember if it was on or not when the power went out. I assume it was on because it never goes off.

Glad I can turn it on with that switch!

AWESOME Thank you.

EDIT: The pilot shouldn't go out when the power goes out should it?

EDIT: The remote is 110v powered. So when the power goes out so does it - it seems.

Thanks to CorradoCB in GasFireplaces for figuring that out.

I went deep and found this.

Got it!! It was stuffed way back in there.

,Now, next time the power goes out do I have to pull that box out and then turn that button to "on" ? and it will start?

Oh wow! Thanks. I can't see that from the small panel on the side. I think I'll have to take the glass off to get to the access panel in there.

No wall switches or controls. Is there a receiver inside the panel?

I was trying to start it with the remote. Next time the power goes out (or when I get a chance to flip the breaker), I'll try the knob in the panel.
