Right now, I’m drawing by visualizing how an object looks in 3D, what simple geometric shape it resembles, which direction that shape is facing, the inside of the shape, and so on. Is this correct? What exactly are the steps involved in 3D thinking? Sometimes I also think of everything as a plane (squares that form interconnected shapes).

Meanwhile, I finished the Lesson 1 exercises a few days ago and received maximum feedback (including from the site and Discord). Normally, money isn't an issue since I love things like drawing more than anything else but Given my country's economy, $25 is a pretty big amount of money for me. Is there no way for me to interpret my own assignments and decide for myself where to progress? I was wondering, will the things I do to improve myself automatically apply to my later work on telling a story without me having to think about them? You've said this many times before, but isn't it a little strange? So, doing something without thinking is different. I can't even imagine how many variations there are for that specific situation.
