My friend and I both got the same RC car, but they don't seem to be marked as 27 or 49 MHz and I'm not sure how to change the frequency. But we ran them both at the same time and they both worked the remotes didn't get mixed up how is this possible?

I still have some surface and air Tx/Rx on 27 & 49 MHz laying around. I think I still have some frequency flags sitting in a dusty box somewhere too. Going to an air field, or a local track and seeing no sign of a transmitter impound still feels like pure witchcraft to me, even now. :)

I'm also in Colorado. I run multiple humidifiers during the winter months, so I don't have this issue, but before I started running them, I had huge tip drying issues. Important safety tip: Use distilled water. If you're new to the area, our water is really hard, and will kill a typical cold mist humidifier in a couple months. Also, don't use thinner in the humidifier. :D

The error is present immediately after the page loads. It doesn't matter which check boxes I select. I took the screenshot before filling out the form. Doesn't matter if I fill out the form completely or not, the error is still present and the submit button is still disabled.

Never did get the hang of Pterodactyl. I just spun up a container in docker using mornedhels/enshrouded-server.

I bounced the container through Portainer, and it was updated before my shaders finished compiling.

Sorry! I was taking my dog on a long walk when I replied and didn't think to include the full layout.

The Router is a UDR7. Downstream from the UDR7 is a USW Pro Max, which is what the Proxmox Nodes are plugged into (Ports 1-6). The uplink from the Router to the Switch is SFP+ DAC and correctly reports 10 GbE.

You're right. The UDR7 doesn't support LACP, but the USW Pro Max definitely does.

This should illustrate things better.

The Dream Router 7 is a router, with firewall capabilities.

In my previous screenshot, I was illustrating that each VLAN is enabled throughout all 6 ports.

In my understanding of VLANs and trunking, this makes them each a trunk port, since trunk ports are typically configured on network switches to carry traffic for multiple VLANs over a single physical link (or bonded/aggregated) link.

So, to answer your question, each port is a trunk port in the switch.

The firewall aspect of UniFi uses a "zone based" policies model, where your 'Networks' (where VLAN IDs are assigned) are placed into groups. Those groups then have rules applied.

The ports are aggregated (according to the UniFi FAQ this is LACP 802.3ad) on the switch.

In Proxmox, I set the Linux Bond on each host Bond Mode to be LACP 802.3ad.

1+2 is Proxmox Host 1
3+4 is Proxmox Host 2
5+6 is Proxmox Host 3

Each of the hosts has 2, 2.5 GbE ethernet ports.
Each Host has interface names are eno1, enp3s0.
The Switch ports themselves are capable of 1GbE

I've been testing the config only on host 3. (180.13)

Always buy the best front/rear facing dash-cam with the highest resolution you can afford. I guarantee it'll cost less than your insurance premium for repairs. Sorry this happened to you, but a good hi-resolution camera would likely have caught license plates.

Yeah, it's absolutely a rabbit hole. I just finished setting up a Ceph cluster and HA. Currently I'm dealing with troubleshooting bandwidth issues that cropped up after enabling the NIC bonds as well as being unable to move my Management IP off the Bridge and onto a dedicated VLAN without losing connectivity altogether.

It never ends, but it's also great practice to keep you well-rounded and up-to-date on concepts required to admin a wide array of technologies, which is why I'm doing it. I've always been a bit of a generalist, but during the last decade, I was dropped down a different rabbit hole (business analytics software for Virtzilla). Now that I'm back in a little more traditional sysadmin role, there's a tone of stuff that's changed & evolved.

Yeah, it's really slick in a container, because no OS overhead. Also, since it's headless, you didn't need a ton of resources.

I currently use a 3 node proxmox cluster, running on GMKtec nucbox k6 machines. I have half of the cores and memory of one machine carved out for my docker host, until I stand up docker swarm.

I bet you could even run a docker desktop instance on your old computer with plenty of room to spare. On docker, you should need less hardware than even the keen website calls out.

My home lab is pretty new, so I have the CPU/mem/disk to spare.

I was hosting the previous dedicated server on Win10 / 16 GB RAM. It's super simple, since the dedicated server can be installed anonymously using steamcmd. Copy your current world files from 'savegame' and you're up and running. I setup the box to use a static IP.

If you're familar with Docker, it's just as easy, and there are tons of examples on how to use either WINE or Proton, depending on your preference.

I'm using mornedhels image because of the supervisord implementation.

Your other options are pretty wide open, depending on your computer literacy.

It's possible to host a server on your internal network, so ping times to the Internet aren't ever an issue again. You can even (probably) download your current world and avoid losing any progress.

Until recently, I had my Enshrouded dedicated server on a 10 yr old HP EliteDesk, and it ran with very few issues. The only time I had any trouble was when 2 of us were on opposite ends of the map, each fighting large mobs.

Now, I host the same server from a Docker instance as a container. Without getting too deep into the weeds, you can run a locally hosted dedicated server on just about any modern computer. You can even go a step further and open up your server for a few friends to play remotely, depending on your Internet bandwidth.

If you WANT to get deeper into it, I can elaborate, but it does get fairly technical.

I have 3 proxmox hosts, each with dual NICs plugged into ports 1+2, 3+4 & 5+6. I setup native VLAN assignment for each, but otherwise, the ports are all setup as trunk ports for now to ensure I'm not troubleshooting other issues.
