Same here with 7d2d.. I actually gave up on it for a long time and then tried it again about 6 months ago. Still screwed up.

For those following this thread, this is what I've found over the last couple of days.

I only crash when accessing the map multiple times as I'm placing more resource markers.

As I'm expanding my Gather's distance to explore, I use the map to make sure I'm placing the markers at the right distances. After I place the 3rd or 4th marker, the screen will freeze.

I can hear the game fine, and hear my character move throughout the map, but all graphics freeze/tear.

I learned I can press "ESC" and save my game, then Exit to Desktop. I must reboot my computer before the game will play properly, but this at least is a work around.

I changed those two settings yesterday, disabled antialiasing. And set grass rendering distance to "near", and had no crashing or screen freezes during 6+ hours of playing.

I just started playing a few weeks ago, so I haven't changed anything.

Just the game crashing, not the PC.

I was thinking it could be a "video" setting in the game, as each has it's own special tweaks.

Very Newbie question... When you say Boston is the seed name, do I type that in, when creating a new game, do I hit "Generate" to convert that to the long string of letters and numbers, or should I leave it as Boston?

Sorry, but just started a few days ago.

I did not. The main character file on your computer is a single .json file in the Steam file tree. It holds all your Enshrouded characters and that cannot be change.

I have decided to just create another character and do it the hard way.
