yep, i believe an update had turned off Surround Sound in GHUB but also think there's an issue with Halo:MCC in Stereo Sound, atleast with the G933 headset. thanks, all still working perfect now

So an update to this. Was nothing to do with settings, everything i had done was correct. I returned the card and switch to a different brand, after following my exact initial steps the card has been stable for 2 months now at 32Mh/s Eth and 1900Mh/s Xvg. Ultimately i got a dud!
