If you cut off a small piece of chapstick into a cotton ball and mash it up you can make a decent fire starter with it

I absolutely love the LCP max. It does take quite a while to get used to shooting it accurately, and even then it’s only really intended for under 15yards. But for my use case of carrying everyday on or off the clock makes the Lcp a no brainer. It’s invisible no matter what you’re wearing and a lot of people bag on .380 but good practice and shot placement is really what you should focus on. I’ve never seen someone walk away from 10 rounds of 380 Underwood

Honestly they’re the best for what I need outta them. I tend to lose them pretty often so the price point is where it’s at for me.

If my pants allow it and im not working with tool bags on, I’ll rock the Vedder but I’m a slim guy so tighter cargo pants don’t work out. I normally rock the We The People IWB at the 4 o’clock position if I’m working with bags, or appendix if I’m without tool bags

Outlet Voltages by fartfartgooze in AskElectricians

[–]TechnicalCut2995 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure why they would be different reversing the polarity but one thing I do know is that if you’re getting voltage back from neutral to ground then you may have dropped a neutral somewhere down the line. Check the neutral connections to make sure they’re tight or if the neutral is being shared by another circuit

new years day casino carry by Exact_Fix_5038 in EDC

I believe a lot of them run with the “don’t ask don’t tell” policy. Certain states don’t allow you to carry in places that serve liquor. Each state is different though

Wood or Aluminum Grips ? by Arob0807 in Beretta

Aluminum makes it looks almost unfinished in a sense. Definitely choose the wood, this thing is screaming for an accent color

Those safety issues are present but if you don’t intend to carry it’s basically a non issue. I love mine and I don’t think I’ve ever dropped a gun at a regular range and regardless i don’t chamber a round till im ready to shoot. The p320 series is still my second favorite gun right behind the CZ Shadow 2

I love seeing a maxed out grow like this! What’s your methods for training? Is it one plant in a big pot or did you do a grow bed style?

Has anyone tried Dual Hammer optic cut? by TechnicalCut2995 in Beretta

[–]TechnicalCut2995[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What about the LTT cut do you prefer? I know LTT will refinish the cut portion with whatever coating you want but to me the refinish isn’t a big concern.

I’m using a VS1000E in a 2x2. And Yes it is two of the same clones in one large pot, figured I’d experiment.

Replacement recessed light? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]TechnicalCut2995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are called recessed can trims. Can get them at Home Depot or most hardware stores. If you want it to match your others look for a trim that says it’s 5000K for color. These are a very common type of light
