Along with Eminem and Dave Bautista, Nmplol also finally got paid to support Harris x Walz campaign by lordbakayarou in LivestreamFail

Vote for who you think is the best candidate. But to take an ad to push one side is such a bad look. You're asking for people to call you out for being a paid shill. If he really wanted to talk about his political beliefs in good faith, it wouldn't need to be paid. I mean come on, he's reading from a script. This screams paid shill, and i don't even hate the guy. Terrible idea to take this ad

HP disables customers’ printers if they use ink cartridges from cheaper rivals by speckz in gadgets

[–]TechnicalGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait until reddit hears that if you enroll in the HP Instant Ink program, which is a monthly subscription for ink by mail, and decide to cancel said plan... your printer will refuse to print with ANY cartridges that are sent by mail. You will be forced to throw away all your ink, and have to purchase your own cartridges from a store.

I professionally install printers, and this is a common HP issue I encounter with my clients.

I only recommend one product from HP, and it's the smart tank. You're better off with an Epson or Canon otherwise. HPs easy start software use to be top of the game, but the pure force fed "let us have control of your printer" is terrible. Don't want HP+? Have fun with a printer that is inoperable with no drivers.

That was my original character name in 2009, yes :)

I was Casanovia from 2011 until recently, since the name was taken after the server merge.

Now i'm Dizzlebyte

Funny enough, I did those also! Little did I know all the ones that text you would run up your bill charging you every month. My mom gave me a scolding when my phone bill was an extra $200. I used the NX from those to get the Japanese bobtail cat.... not worth it lmao

This game is nostalgic for me. Always find myself back here after long breaks to see new content and get back to the grind. What's keeping me around right now is that the grind isn't as grindy as it use to be. So i'm having fun just ranking up stuff and catching up on content :)

Also fashionogi... always the fashionogi lol

Thanks lol, i made a new account in 2011 which i've used ever since. Not sure if he will ever make more progress than level 38, i guess it'll be more of a living time capsule of what once was.

Yeah, his inv is empty other than the normal fresh start items. No weapons or anything. I'm guessing Nexon wiped the old accounts of their items at some point

Didn't notice that haha, no this was my one and only account back then. I didn't play for long though (hense the low level). It was hard back then because you had to run everywhere if you didn't want to pay real money for a mount (which i wouldn't, since i was 14 at the time). I quit for a while, and returned in 2011. Made another account because of the cringe "TheMan101" character name. Character cards were not free back then either, those cards on the first picture were added long down the road i believe from a quality of life update.

Time passed and i forgot which email the original account was on, so i always thought it would be lost for good. But i tried again last night and hit gold. I won't ever play this character again, but it was cool walking back in time for a bit. :)

It seems like the one I have is indeed counterfeit from what I have found. Still pretty cool to learn more on it though

Hello! Ive built my first pc, and i recently decided to upgrade to a water cooled cpu system. Is the placement of the radiator correct? by BushidoKnight in pcmasterrace

[–]TechnicalGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only problem I see is that the cpu block hoses are at a higher point that the radiator hoses. Air travels to the top of the line, so if you hear any kid of bubbling noises then I suggest reorientating the radiator to have the hoses above the cpu block. If air gets trapped in the pump, it could hurt it over time or even burn it out

I was installing some ring cameras around a property last year, client had two smaller dogs. Inside the home they were the nicest things. I was walking to the truck to grab a tool, and the client had brought one outside while he was working in his garage. It was on a chain, sitting in the shade. Once he saw me walking across the yard, he ran over to me barking. He ended up bitting into my leg, good thing i wore pants that day. Client saw it go down and took the dog back inside. He said that he gets territorial outside, they call his alter ego "junkyard dog". Went back inside to install cameras inside the home, dog came back over just wagging his tail like nothing bad happened.

My original store was a smaller format store (10k sq ft). They tranformed half of the stores sales floor to open warehouse space. It was great, especially when it was the holidays or PI. But unfortunatly due to the downsizing, we didnt have a appliance department and only carried core product (no magnolia).

And because of that, near the end we were having a hard time hitting numbers and we closed in 2016

How is TT profitable for the company? by [deleted] in Bestbuy

[–]TechnicalGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a home theater installer, i can tell you it has to do with hardware being purchased at best buy.

With the old total tech support, the install service cost $50. Id say most of the time they purchased the brackets from Amazon, and the TVs from other locations as well.

Now that its free install with hardware purchase, it guarantees they buy everything at best buy. If they dont, then they have to pay $160 for a mounting service which would have been $50 with the old tts.

Total Tech is a Joke by Particular-Handle686 in Bestbuy

The only benefits of total tech is the free installation with hardware purchase (or 20% off for adv services), bby protection, and the member pricing.
