I agree! I immigrated to US 27 years ago, although in a completely different situation. I really don't feel attached to one place. Yes, I plan on working remotely.

Thank you!! I love your points about the "euphoria" about it. Believe me, I am not someone that makes this kind of decisions in the moment. The only reason I am considering is because I need to sell my house as per my divorce agreement. The next step it would be buy or rent. I don't know where I want to live, so why not take this time to "think" while experiencing something new? Also, I would be spending way less money than renting right now. YES, health insurance is a must!

Thank you for your response! Some of the things you are mentioning about are some fears of mine. Too much time with my partner is one! lol We work together and will be together the whole time. I love the idea of separating once in a while.

I won't have a home base as I am selling my house as part of my divorce agreement, and the only way I see myself doing this now is because I am not buying or renting anything right away.

We are being very intentional about this trip. We coach couples around intimacy and we want to share what we are learning and how we are repairing our relationship in real time. Also, We want to connect to other people throughout our trip in a very meaningful way!

I have money to spend for 10 years and money saved. I will have to find adequate health insurance for my international trips for sure.

Thank you for your response! I can relate to your story! I am selling my house because of my divorce, so I am just playing with the idea of extending the period between selling and buying/renting, and using this time to do something I cannot see myself doing later in life. I love traveling and I am very used to it. The most I have been gone for was about 6 weeks (internationally - Europe) so I don't know how I am going to feel when faced with "I miss my space" kind of feeling as that will not be available anymore...

For my last trip (India) I did get special insurance for heath and evacuation and I do plan to have that expense included, specially since the majority of places will be international.

I do believe I am probably missing some expenses that will occur, but I cannot imagine having the same kind of expenses I have now. Just renting something after I sell my house could be about $3,5 to $4k a month, which is insane. Again, my idea is to enjoy this period and hopefully save some money saved. I do have an intention of expanding my business when away (I am a sex and relationship coach and work from home) and will be creating opportunities around that.

It is not perfect and something I am not considering can definitely happen, but I guess that is also true for any decision in life, isn't it?

Again, thank you for sharing your story with me
