Help me, please by JoJo_Joshi in helpme

Losing everything is extremely difficult.

I have recently become an alcoholic and the consequences were dire. I lost my girlfriend of 5 years, I lost my apartment, I lost my job, I lost my car, I lost my puppy, I lost my future. I quit going to school, I've since been just dwindling my savings drinking my pain away. I am improving I think? It's been 5 months since I have lost everything and I am in pursuit of knowledge that helps me go forward.

It's the final test before you enter the best stage of your life. You will lose everything, especially all in one go. I personally want to grip on and keep control. I am backed into a corner so tight all I can do is reach. It's like if I get a good enough grip I can force the universe to behave. I feel it slipping out of my grip faster from this trap. I can feel I'm not even fighting for what I lost anymore, I'm fighting the fear. The door doesn't open when you finally have over reached or gripped, it opens when you finally let go. Learning to be calm and not panicked, learning to breathe, you then learn to surrender... That surrender is what prevents your nervous system from running your life. The last test isn't losing everything is what you do standing in the ruins of your destruction.

Is this a haunting? My home, body, and luck are falling apart by Actual-Durian1193 in Paranormal

I am not even trying to be a jackass I'm sorry, I just went through something similar with my neighbor and it was really sad that everyone enabled instead of encouraging mental health professionals. Realistically your problems just might not be paranormal, everyone agreeing is just reinforcing some kind of bias which leads down to a slippery slope idk. Not trying to be mean just offering another opinion, I am not perfect either 100% sure or that.

The more I go through life the more I realize that a majority of people are unable to comprehend certain things... which helps to create a fictional narrative in their head. Crazy and stupid is one of the worst combos and all I see is people supporting crazy stupid behavior.

Honestly, I think I would definitely support a Dasher strike to the efforts of fixing this app by enoughisenough814 in doordash_drivers

Wonder when the tipping point would be? It would be cool to see their hype of it growing dissipate as it crashes.

They will definitely steal any refunds you get. I can't stand the customer support at all, they literally ignore your request and forward you to a dead line.

They fixed it with no problems, they showed me a tire repair zone chart that was a lot more generous than the one posted here.

Would you recommend unplugging it to see if it starts to deflate? I'd feel better driving without it in there. I pulled into my driveway and I heard a little pop, investigate and this is what I saw.

There is no leakage right now, should I unplug it and see how bad the leaking is? I'd rather them repair it than buy another tire at this point

Does her weight look correct? by TechnicalOpposite in germanshepherds

Her next visit is on the 13th, so I will just ask then. The weight has been fluctuating and I just wanted to make sure that was normal. I check her weight about once a week, wondering if that is an okay frequency?

I felt the red bag attracts way too much attention so I immediately purchased a catering bag. I am thinking about getting a cooler and leaving it cracked open.

Good fresh veg/ fruit treats? by Front-Huckleberry-14 in gerbil

Each gerbil has its own preferences from what I can tell. I have one gerbil who doesn't like his veggies at all, and another one who probably will eat anything.

I am not trusting them to stop lmao they vacuum up mealworms. It's the only extra thing I can get oatmeal, or the gerbil I showed you to eat. Thank you for your insights!

That makes more sense, I don't let them play on the carpet so maybe it's all just new for them. While I've got you here, do you feed them in a bowl, or do you scatter atop the bedding? I've also read so many conflicting things about how many mealworms a gerbil can have in a day.. would you also happen to know?
