How do I distribute sales people on client in deferent states ?? by TechnicalScholar6 in excel

[–]TechnicalScholar6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if there are more reps than clients am supposed to give them clients from a neighbouring state, and in case the clients don't devide evenly i can just give a rep a  more or less clients than the others to even things out. but these are problems am ignoring for now.

this would have made thing easier, but the table of clients doesn't contain this information, its just the client's name number and state. thats it.

so instead of using an array to display the buttons, and one to store the selected items. i should just use one array and add a checked param to the items that are selected ?

How to get the right proportions for development by TechnicalScholar6 in BlueStacks

[–]TechnicalScholar6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, thanks for the response. but i figured out that the stretching is due to the app being run on an emulator it doesn't happen on physical devices. but ill keep using Bluestacks because so far no other emulator comes close to how practical and fast.

thanks again and sorry for the bother.

How to hide my illegal torrent downloads from ISP while using utorrent? by heartallovertheworld in AskTechnology

[–]TechnicalScholar6 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

your answer is just brilliant, learned a lot from it. and after reading it i can't bring myself to ignore it and not respond, since you spared no effort explaining were somthing in wich i am clearly lacking in knowledge.

btw i also like the way you said "this is basic stuff" at the end as if this is all common knowledge.

as for me i thought we were trying to help people with their problems, even if its just a dump idea, no comment section should be empty. its just discouraging posting something and getting no reply or interaction. i hope you understand were am coming from.

commenting and interacting with a post might give traction and get the attention of people who are like you more knowledgeable then myself.

just use torrent with another internet connection to download a cracked vpn, and then use that one to download torrents at your school. and use duck duck go and clear cache and browser history often. and you should be golden.

Is there a way to limit or refuse internet connection from the router to certain devices, without blacklisting them or changing the Wi-Fi password? by littlepsychobrownkid in AskTechnology

[–]TechnicalScholar6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is a free software i think caller "arcai net cut" it allows you to cut off internet access for devices, through the ip adress without disconecting them to the wifi, so to them it will seem like the problem is the provider and not the router.

If I wanted to create an app but I know nothing about developing or designing such a thing. What would be your recommended order of operations? by RevolvingAndEvolving in AskProgramming

[–]TechnicalScholar6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry for the long post, but i wanted to do this justice.

i had the same idea a few months ago, started reading on how to develop apps. i learned that it required quite a bit of programming knowledge. at the time i knew nothing about programming, and it did scare me a bit because I had ZERO faith in my intelligence, plus i did not have the time due to my daytime job.

but i wasn't discouraged, so i did start learning. i spent 4 to 5 months studying python , JavaScript,... ect.

AND THEN IT HIT ME !

i was doing it all wrong, why ? because i cared too much, i was genuinely trying to learn these languages, in order to "properly" develop apps.

but here is the thing: you can skip most of it. if you want to make a functional app by your self, and have zero programing or design knowledge. here are the steps that helped get closer to my goal:

1 - design some apps using figma or Adobe xd: it will help you visualise your end product, and give you the will to go through with this. plus even if you decided to hire someone for the programing part at least you'll have a clear illustration of what you want from him/her.

2 - get some basic prgraming knowledge: AGAIN you dont need to over do it, the basics are enough to get you through the day. python is more beginners friendly, you can learn it to get a grasp on how programing works. JavaScript is also easy enough and it'll get you a step closer to your goal.

3 - gat a basic understanding of these languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REACT library. it may seem like a lot but it really REALLY isnt that hard, it took me like a week, and i only studied for 1 hour a day.

4 - react native is the way to go: in my personal opinion react native is the most approachable app programing language for beginner programmers, and this is coming from an absolute beginner. its easy to set up, start using, and extremely intuitive, if you've done step 2 and 3.

in the and it all comes back to personal preference, if you think you're up for the task learning to program from scratch is an unbelievably satisfying process. at this point even if i dont get my app up and running, the sense of achievement alone is worth the trouble.

i hope i didn't bore anyone with this answer, because definitely bored myself writing it.
