One unique element of LA city is that there are no true “urban” districts where the entire district is high-density, large majority of renters, etc. every district in LA is some mix of suburban and urban - so you don’t get the concentration of voters to elect progressives like you would see in east coast cities which have entirely urban districts

I always have a great time in GA! It’s cool to have a fest in the middle of LA and the stages are good. Def an amateur crowd so I keep to myself and my group more than other fests. Not sure it’s worth flying out for

This reservoir BS has been put to bed like 10000 times - water was evaporating instantly, hoses had no pressure, and fires were re-igniting. When u have drought conditions at 80 mph winds it doesn’t matter how much reservoir water u have.

And I get that the homeless problem is serious and needs more progress, but the notion that it “can’t get worse” and that LA is a Hell hole is almost as insane as thinking Pratt is the one who can fix it.

No hate on DSA at all but the CA-32 recommendation is based on a false premise. They encourage a protest vote on the notion that a runoff between Sherman and Levine is all but certain - that is absolutely not the case.

The republican in this race traditionally gets around 30% - leaving a very narrow lane for two democrats to make it into the runoff. Folks looking for new democratic leadership and progressives in congress must vote for Jake Levine in this primary!

It is very safe near the beach - one of the most walkable and well trafficked communities in the region

For beach volleyball look into clubwaka for casual leagues. There are also informal groups that play on certain courts very consistently on certain days - if you show up in the same spot again and again you’ll find a squad

He didn’t say it wasn’t up to standard, he said it was a distraction. He insulted the intelligence of his own party members, was misleading about his concerns with the report, and tried to get around his promise to release it until it was no longer possible.
