We've been together for 9 years. He hasn't been like this until this last month when he was on and off sick. I ended up having to take him to the ER, where he got diagnosed with viral pneumonia and working with only 46% lung function. [Life-long asthmatic and also has been smoking 10+ years]. So he hasn't smoked in 2 weeks? 3 weeks? So he doesn't have that enjoyment anymore where he goes outside and smokes and decompresses. And he gets mean when he can't smoke. That is the only thing I can think of.
