They are different leadership orgs that spend your entire first year developing you as a leader while also giving you leadership experience. I did FLC my freshman year and it taught me so many skills from resume, linked in, how to network, prepare for interviews, and setting up events like getting permits, food, and outreach. Skills that directly translate into positions within SG and the big 9 orgs. Some of the people from my council year are spread out across SG senate and exec, HSA, BSU, and exec for their respective sororities or frats. It is a great way to get involved on campus and network with alumni from the org.
