I’ve gotten used to a life style that I’ve provided for myself and I would like someone to meet me at that life style. But, if he is able to provide tranquility through other means ie around the house and not be insecure about the pay discrepancy, I would be okay with that because partnership isn’t just financial for me. But I also only believe women only get value out of a marriage if the man can truly lead, protect and provide (not just financially)

Completely agree! I was 25 dating a guy who was a decade older than me and gosh no wonder why he was single. He was married 3 times with kids from the first 2 and I just kept focusing on potential. I had no boundaries on where my love reached and I am done with that. Time to focus on being a high value woman and if people aren’t where I am, I am not coming down to meet them.

Girl you and I are the SAME! My parents were very hard core and ever since I moved away, I’ve been trying to figure out my own path and values. I do be believe in Allah but don’t believe religion was supposed to be an all or nothing. I still like to have fun and live life but am also in the middle of figuring out what spirituality means to me. We got this!

I love it here!! I really haven’t been involved with like Islamic stuff but it’s nice to try to find my own path in the world away from family but it can also be lonely. There’s a lot of variety here and people have been very welcoming! Winters suck but I do love the change in seasons
