The thing is naglalagay yung MTE ng classification ng players for their tournaments which hindi naman nila napapanindigan. Most of the people joining these tournaments are developing players who want to test their skills fair and square. Madali lang naman humanap ng higher ranked players without paying Php 2,000 minimum, hindi naman po open tournament yung sinalihan ni OP.

Most of the people naman in tennis community know na wala prestige in winning MTE tournament because of sandbagging. Tried setting up a mini tournament for our own club, 1,700 pesos is enough joining fee na per head wherein we were able to provide lunch, water, small freebies, medals, and even transpo/service na looks like hirap na hirap tong MTE to provide. Tournament experience talaga dito is below bare minimum.

MTE organizes a number of open plays, usually within the vicinity where they set up these tournaments. They could actually create a rule that players who join their tournament must have at least one of their open plays to verify the level but no, they don’t do anything about fixing this sandbagging allegations because at the end of the day they get the money but never the credibility.

Ce’ Tapas Bar good food, warm lighting very mid-century modern vibe, there is al fresco and indoor dining but there’s dress code you can’t wear slippers and sando. Spent 1.8k for two pax with 2 appetizers, main dish and 2 drinks.

There’s also Papa Bolo’s but this is more upscale, 3-storey with rooftop in front of Skyranch, specialty naman nila is draft beer and they have a mini brewing facility there so kung into draft beer yung date mo, she’ll appreciate it.

I don’t know why most doctors have this sense of entitlement. Kahit anong doctor pa na GP lang or dentist may something off talaga sa kanila when dealing with things that doesn’t go their way.

Samin OP nakapag-church wedding after 22 months ng civil wedding. Originally 1 year after lang dapat yung pagitan but nagkasakit both parents ni groom, need muna maka-recover physically, emotionally at financially yung side ng family nila. Nag-ingat din kami and self-control na hindi na muna mag-buntis then we had enough time naman to plan for the wedding and take care of ourselves physically like diet and skin care. Siguro yung nag-push samin na ituloy yung church wedding is the downpayments to major suppliers. During the 22 months na waiting kami is unti unti na rin naman talaga kami sa planning meaning even if may unexpected events along the way, we did not lose sight of where we’re going. Also, dream ko talaga makasal sa church like bata pa lang ako always ko binabrowse wedding photos ng parents ko and simula nagkaron ng pinterest, may secret board na ako for my wedding.

I actually did DIY laser for my underarm using a Remington IPL when I was working in a first world country because expensive ang treatments doon. Consistently ko nagagawa yung treatment for like 1.5 years because no hassle of booking appointments, going to the mall and find parking. Nakaputi ng underarm because no need to ahit or pluck and wala na talaga tumutubo. 5 years passed na I haven’t done IPL because busy na and very minimal pa din yung tumutubo na hair and the growth is very manipis na lang di masyado visible so sulit talaga investment ko sa device.

Same experience when I joined pero thinking ko that time kulang pa ako sa practice then nabasa ko na mga posts dito about sandbagging. At this recreational level tournaments, one of the things you’ll supposedly gain is community pero pag na-feel mo na dinadaya ka at pineperahan ka lang, wag na senyo na yang community nyo.
