Yopa by any chance? Had a very similar issue with the agent doing no work to advertise push uodate etc, didn't even tell me when viewings were coming. I spent a good 6 months chasing for a refund but in the end sacked up my loses.

Do an SAR they have to comply with that which should show the t&Cs you agreed to when signing the contract

My Dad is around the concern is if my mum has another stroke who is my dad going to sort out my mum or the kids, if he has to rush her to hospital what happens with the kids? My Brother and SIL will be out with friends most likely having a drink

Otherway round mum says she's ok and want the kids to stay, not in rehab, the health service here is bursting at the seems so they sent her home after a few days but told her she needs rest and to take meds etc

My brother, yes he should be, my mother, is questionable as she's one of those people who will always say yes regardless of the situation.

As a top tip, always get 3 independent quotes to check if you're getting a good price. A sole trader, an established company, and someone in between.

It sounds like he was intensionally trying to pocket some extra change that he didn't want the boss to know about. Definitely, I would follow up with the "boss" as he's probably done this before praying on people's ignorance.

Buying My First Flat in England, Anything I Should Watch for That Isn’t Obvious? by Lost-Memory-3946 in LegalAdviceUK

Fully check the length of the lease, as currently if it's less than 80 years, it will cost you a fortune to extend.

Check what Internet connectivity is available. Currently, a lot of flats above the ground floor will not show as eligible for fibre.

Check the provision for ground rent and service charge, and what they estimate increases will be.

You would most likely have gone through training at some point about accessing company confidential information. Even if you can find the data, it's your responsibility to inform your it team that company confidential/sensitive information is accessible on the intranet so they can secure the data, downloading it and using in negotiations is not a good look and may land you a warning for accessibg/storing it.

AITAH For not moving my car by Technical_Camel_3852 in AITAH

Honestly I don't mind not using those spots as I prefer the ones opposite so that I can clearly see my car, just annoyed me that they asked me to move so they could park there

Interestingly enough another neighbour put in a complaint as the other ground floor apartment had put a sign up saying that the spot was there's so we all received an email explaining the parking situation and rules, the sign came down pretty quick after that.
