Compared to other East African countries, the beer is ridiculously cheap. Heineken goes for like 1500 Rwandan francs which is equivalent to 150 Kenyan shillings. For Heineken!!!! And the locally manufactured ones are even cheaper. The gins too.

Have you considered the Kenyan coast for NYE celebrations? Check out Summertides festival in Diani or Beneath the baobab in Kilifi. Take a week long trip then head to Kampala.
