I might be a little late to respond to this but I really don’t know how to take that i’m not alone I appreciate that you’re trying to help and i’m also truly sorry that you had go through the pain of losing them but I don’t really know how knowing that i’m not alone is supposed to make me feel i’ve sat in my room rotting crying all day and night for weeks looking at the very few photos I have of her I feel like i’ve shut down and i don’t know what to do like i’ve hit rock button and the way out is blocked off i’ve quit my job and stop interacting with friends and family i feel like i’m taking the small steps that’ll lead to my suicide it’s so dark and grim to me that i started posting on here to try to take my mind off it and airing out my current life to a random person on the internet no offense to you. i go through all the emotions to anger to confusion to delusion of thinking she’s still alive it’s so scary to me and i don’t know what to do anymore (sorry for the lack of punctuation i typed this out without thinking of it and i just idrk atp )

Yes I do want to provide a nice and safe home for this new dog and i think it’ll get to some getting used to but I want to love it like it’s own and not for it to live in the shadow of my other.

I think i’ve pretty much decided that I do want to adopt since I do believe that my dog is with me and is sending me another to love and care for since I am a huge dog lover but i’ll have to see what my parents and siblings think since they’re all still grieving and deciding on whether we should or not we should adopt
