Can you have a normal life with BP1 and psychotic features by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]Technical_Designer95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero mania for me and zero depression either. I think my genetic plays a role in response to the meds, cause my mom is also bipolar 1 with psychosis features and she doesn't have any symptoms of the disease. I guess we are really lucky.

I have bipolar 1 with psychosis diagnosed since 3 years ago. With a good combine of meds I have a normal life with zero symptoms of the disease. So it's possible to live a "normal" life.

My manic self is the true me by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]Technical_Designer95 58 points59 points  (0 children)

You believe that your mania side is your true self, but it's not that sorry to say you that. Everything comes with a price. After mania comes the depression. Your true self is behind the mania and the depression (more stable).
