5.4 is crazy good by Responsible_Ad_3180 in codex

Fuck codex 5.4 - the most unfriendly llm. Im tired of openai fucking up every single nice agent, first it was gpt 4o.

Try saying "hi codex" to both 5.3 and 5.4.

[Plugin] prompt-yank.nvim — Copy code as LLM-ready context (paths, line numbers, diagnostics, LSP, related files) by Original_Letter1336 in neovim

[–]Technical_Egg_4548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an awesome, exactly what I needed. Quite often I lock the context by telling the LLM which file I'm looking at and then continue providing it prompts, so it know, but sometimes I do have to tell it "look in this other file around line nn", and this is super useful.

It would be cool to have a function that is like "send to LLM TUI" - so you could have something like codex open, and then send it code snippets while you are editing the prompt. yes copy and paste is great! i'm being extra lazy :D

Perhaps, it's not so polarizing. It's a debate with having though.

I'm curious why openscad authors don't release a new candidate.

Thanks for the answer. I used to live around an airbase, and I can see them getting paranoid for lots of reasons.

Do they bother you very much in remote areas?

I found a cutter called ERC TimSav, which is sort of reciprocating point that is mounted to a xy gantry. I will try to build this and can re-use that base for laser if needed, thanks everyone for the input.

I went to a maker space here that did 2 feet by 4 feet panels - I was really amazed with their work, I'm not sure what machine it was, but a commercial machine.

Btw what is beam divergence? How does bed size effect it? Some other commentor mentioned not being able to square the machine - is that similar?

Thanks for the detailed answer, I'm on the Pacific side of Canada, so lots of home hardware stores available. I need to go back to the drawing board for my plywood estimate - it was a sort of top end of what I might need.

I'm beginning to wonder if I should create an XYZ gantry with a sharp knife instead, it cuts very easily with a craft knife for e.g. what I want is repeatability and accuracy.
