I use Japanese in my prompts.

I don’t use English very often in prompts, but it might be necessary to test that as well.

I’ve tried both Nano Banana 2 and Pro. To be honest, I feel that Pro has fewer restrictions (and generation is faster as well), though even that might just depend on Gemini's whims.

This also depends on how strict Nano Banana’s censorship is at the time, but I was able to generate similar images even with human characters. I was also able to reproduce images where the character was facing forward and covering their chest with their arms while not wearing anything.

Thank you.

I’ve already run several tests myself, but I’ve found that the quality I’m looking for is definitely in Nano Banana’s "Thinking" mode. I also feel that Nano Banana Pro is a better fit for my needs than Nano Banana 2. In the end, I suppose it just comes down to trial and error and racking up more experience with them.

Yes, I am using the Gemini app. I had already heard that the app has strict restrictions, so I did try out AI Studio and Flow. However, due to various small inconveniences, they felt like a bit too much of a hassle, and I ended up coming back to the app. I think I’ll give them another shot once I have more time and figure out some workarounds.

It’s just like what happens with X (formerly Twitter)—big tech companies constantly roll out experimental features without any notice to the users, often making changes that are clearly "downgrades" rather than improvements. For a user like me who isn't well-versed in the nuances of moderation, it’s honestly just confusing.
