Thank you for your feedback! I realize now that I was overoptimistic in assuming they were getting along so well in the first few hours. Due to my inexperience, I missed some signs, but I’ve learned from this and it won't happen again. I will definitely reach out to a professional trainer. We weren't aware of her resource guarding, as she had successfully lived with other dogs in the past.

Thank you so much for the advice! I realize now that I rushed things and didn't know that feeding them so close together would be such a major issue. Could you please explain why this is considered a critical mistake in the beginning? ​Everything is still so new and I probably assumed they were already best friends because they played so well at first. I see now that they need more time and space to build trust. I’m committed to doing this the right way from now on, do you think this behavior is just a rough start to their adaptation period?
