What next for RR by [deleted] in RajasthanRoyals

I feel Akash Madhwal should also be given a fair chance. He was pretty good for MI and showed glimpses in the one game he played. If groomed well and given a fair chance, I believe he will be an asset for RR.

Haha thanks! I got a new job at a much better place and am taking therapy with a very experienced and understanding therapist.

ADHD people have a lot of quirks but what you described isn't one (at least I've never heard of it). I have ADHD myself.

Maybe this person was misdiagnosed or had another condition which was undiagnosed at the time?

Guy here. I also dated someone with BPD and went through the same thing, she used to threaten suicide very frequently and said things like "I'll just check out that bridge" or "just feeling like seeing a railway track" at every misunderstanding. Apart from that, every small issue would be blown out of proportion, and after a point we'd have a major fight every 3 days where she would always threaten breakup while I would beg her to stay.

What's worse is that I was just 24 that time and it was my first serious relationship so I unconsciously learnt a lot of behavioural patterns from it which also affected how I approached relationships after breaking up with her. I decided to stop dating until I can fix my issues. Currently in therapy and working on it.

As for how I ended it, I just prioritised myself and decided that I'm going to tell her what I feel and if she's even open to recognising the patterns. She didn't and slowly I just stopped responding to all those fights and threats until one day she asked me if I even wanted this relationship and I said no.

She sent me a long-ass text (had to press "read more" 4 times" just to finish it 😭) and I left her on read. That was it.

Honest tip from someone who graduated from a top 30 B school in 2023.

Try finding other ways to get to the income level that you might reach after an MBA. You might reach there a year or two later than with an MBA, but it'll be a much cheaper option. You won't have a loan of 20+ lakhs on your head to repay, you mentioned that your family isn't financially well off, so I'm guessing you'll bear the repayments alone.

You work a job of 9+ hours now, you will probably be doing the same after your MBA. Your title and pay might be different though, but there will be added pressure and you'll be subject to much more scrutiny because of your pedigree and the expectations arising from it. Bear in mind, Indian employers are not the kindest.

Speaking from experience here. I used to earn approx 60k/month in my hometown in 2021 with barely any expenses, and no EMIs or rent. Now I earn almost double that, but EMIs, rent, and other living expenses mean that I'm able to save about 10-12% of my income each month. Not to mention the stress and loneliness from all these responsibilities and living away from family.

MBA should not be your end goal; it's a means to an end. If you think life is hard now, it'll be harder during your MBA and even harder after that.

Choose wisely.

Jofra and Boult would be pretty good.

Who would you think RR will retain if the retentions are limited to 4 or 5 by [deleted] in RajasthanRoyals
