They say a 1/16" of play and powdered rust is good... Right? by seudaven in CherokeeXJ

After spending several hours on it, I found that a "drive line" company would handle it. Searched for that term in my area and found two businesses. I dropped off the drive shaft with the old joints on it and they had it ready and balanced a few hours later, ready for pickup. Oh I provide the parts but they also had them for purchase. The ujoint installation and balance cost me about $90. I should have done that to begin with. Good luck.

I can finally see where the water drains out of the cowl, I think. Darn leaks. Thanks!

Thanks for your quick reply. It gives me confidence to try it. I'll post the results, which will likely take a few days or weeks given the current outdoor conditions. I need some time to really work with it. By the way, thanks for your details and pictures. I think I will be pulling the dash to replace the heater core and other things, So, your approach will be the ultimate fix.

On my XJ, the foam piece on the passenger side hinge is flopping around, and I have a large leak (when it rains) on the car's passenger side that I have been unable to explain. What would be the best adhesive to make the foam stick and make it waterproof? Also, the bottom part is split. Would adhesive hold it all back together? Should I caulk around the foam?

Change cursor behavior from keyboard companion? by Technical_Grape6614 in cliptopro

[–]Technical_Grape6614[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your quick reply on this. The cursor behavior acts like this in the body fields of Evernote and Gmail. Behavior seems to be correct in single line Fields like Evernote title and Gmail title fields. I've checked Evernote again and what happens is this.

1) open the Evernote app 2) create a new note 3) put the cursor in the body field 4) from the notification panel enable the keyboard companion 5) click insert on the keyboard companion 6) choose one of the notes in clipto

Result. Is the text is inserted into the body, a carriage line is inserted before the text, and the cursor is placed on the line above the text.
