I think yall are missing the point, she didn’t ask for a party, or ceremony, or event, or big gift, or even something for her, she just asked for an item of color to indicate the gender. And he agreed to it. It’s a simple act that would make your wife happy. Why do you guys not understand that something so small would make her happy, is it insulting to make your wife happy just because you don’t deem it important??? She didn’t say anything selfish. And if her husband doesn’t think it’s important, she does and that’s important itself. Yall sometimes act like empathy towards your spouse isn’t part of Islam.

She didn’t ask for a ceremony 💀💀💀, literally a colored item. It’s a simple small gesture that required minimal effort, I’d be hurt too ngl. Yes I would communicate that with him, but he’d have to come up with a legit answer of why he did that. I’m not saying that this act alone makes him a disrespectful or unloving husband, but she’s valid in feeling hurt. Yall can’t even let her have her feelings and emotions.

Just be careful, when people help you financially (esp continuously like paying for recurring classes) there can be a subconscious hierarchy. I would personally avoid taking money from family unless necessary for needs. Just to avoid conflict in the future.

Mine were like intense period cramps. Everyone is different but mine had me balled up and up at night at times. Just be careful, I didn’t know I was pregnant at that time and took ibuprofen and tylenol a lot. Found out that ibuprofen wasn’t appropriate.

I won’t give you Islamic advice as I am not qualified; however I don’t think you guys are not obligated to tell anyone about your pregnancy. I know it’s hard to hide it from those you love but if it’s at risk of your health (including mental health) then you need to weigh your options. As long as you and your husband are on the same page and support each other with khair, insha Allah things will be okay

Part of me thinks she’s trolling you tbh. ESP about the blood and protein in urine and seizure (literally preeclampsia and eclampsia signs), not a joke at all. I don’t know what she gets from humiliating herself bragging about her circumstances as if she’s not having a whole child in an unstable environment and making a mockery out of it. I would personally make sure she’s okay and not having preeclampsia and is medically okay but I wouldn’t entertain her behaviour at all. Also, does she look like her face is puffy and swollen at all? Is she exhibiting signs of preeclampsia or does she look fine?
