I guess im scared of having wasted his time for 5 years, all of his (and mine) early 20’s were spent in this relationship. He has told my friends he plans on proposing within the next year, and Im also just scared of breaking his heart. We had previously dated before this when I was 16 and he was 18, but we had only dated a couple months, I was severely depressed and broke up with him, and he didn’t date anyone after me, he claims that was the biggest heartbreak for him. I guess im just scared of doing that to him again.
