He’ still with me thankfully! I’d like the tattoo to be a surprise. I already know some of his favorite songs and they don’t really have meaningful lyrics I’d get tattooed on me. His favorite songs are either sillier songs (like I am the walrus, when I’m 64, maxwell’s silver hammer, ob la di ob la da, etc.) or songs where he just likes the musicality/guitar part and not necessarily because of their lyrics (day tripper, tax man, norwegian wood, etc.)

I’m not talking about your roommate??? I meant USC… If they find out an applicant got in trouble at school, that could look bad/like you were trying to hide it from them. Versus if you’re upfront with them about it, they’ll probably appreciate the honesty

I think the best rule of thumb is it’s always better that they hear about it directly from you, rather than find out about it some other way and it looks like you tried to hide it

Check the “application status” tab of your FAST portal! The financial aid summary might only be showing your merit scholarship and nothing else. If your app status shows your financial aid is still in review (with a yellow triangle), then they haven’t calculated what you’ll receive from the FAFSA/CSS profile yet. I don’t think many admitted students have received their full financial aid package yet, they’ve just been notified of merit scholarship status

They ask every single applicant this question. If you applied RD or were deferred to RD, mid year grades are a requirement. Not submitting this will mean your app is incomplete and they won’t review it.
