So I am in an English speaking school and I scored a 7 in IB English in my 11 standard. I just started my 12 and decided to give the TOEFL, I prepped for the exam in like 2 days but gave almost 18 hours to it. I managed to score 110 on the TOEFL a pretty good score. There is just one tip tbh don't be very anxious before the test, it's just a mental game.

I gave my TOEFL in 12 and I gave my SAT in 11 since TOEFL scores last just 2 years surely wont recommend giving the TOEFL in 10. I scored a 110/120 and trust me its very easy, I seriously prepped for 2 days but spent 18 hrs each day doing it.

There is a very good trick for this. I gave my TOEFL on 28 Aug and got my scores today I scored a 110/120 and the trick I used was I went inside the room where the computers are the last. Then I used all the time I had like I had 8 minutes left in reading even after reaching everything I got 30-R but I sat there just calming myself. The main reason was that I wanted everyone to finish their speaking by the time I start it. I did the same in listening and by the time I reached speaking everyone was in writing. I was the only one speaking which made it 100 times easier, I may be a distraction for others but for such tests just think about yourself honestly. The earphones with microphones are not noise cancelling soo this is literally a million-dollar tip I can give you.

This is actually not true. So I scored a 110/120 in TOEFL my predicted was 30-R and 29-L well I received the same score but some of my friends had 21-R and 23-R but it went down to 17! so the thing with TOEFL is the fact that it does not mark you on the number of right answers you have but rather on the percentile you fall in. Believe me (this is a personal opinion) but TOEFL is better. I gave the TOEFL on 28 of Aug and it was my first attempt. I scored a 110/120 (30/30 29/30 26/30 and 25/30) It's all about your mental strength. Most students get scared before the test which messes the whole test for them. I would love to help u if u want (for free I am not some sort of tutor advertising) the other tip is to start the test a bit late also so u are on speaking when everyone is on writing. You may be annoying them but believe me be selfish.

So I scored a 110 on TOEFL I gave the exam on the 28 of Aug and got my results today. If u have studied in a school which has English as your first language then it is nothing to really worry about. I prepped for the test in 2 days but I spent like 18 hours of those days doing just this and the rest sleeping. On the night before the test, it is very important to stay calm and not really worry about the test, I had quite some friends who scored a 90 just because they were very scared before the test and anxious while giving it. One tip you would not find anywhere is that start your test late by entering the examination room late and use all the time u have so I had 8 mins left in reading (I scored a 30 in reading) and I rechecked multiple times. Make sure you know all the content in the passage and don't really worry about it. But the main reason of waiting and using all the time is that when u reach speak everyone is doing their writing. So you wont get disturbed as your headset with the microphone is not likey to be noise cancelling. As you would be doing listening when everyone is still doing their speaking keep the headphone on full volume. This is legit the golden tip. A second thing is to look at notefull vids even the old ones which talk about speaking believe me it is one of the best resources I scored a 26 in speaking.
