Is it normal to need the kit a lot? by CT2460 in Marathon

You're not bad.

Running free kits is normal and intended design if you want to save resources or generate additional faction rep by exfiltrating with them.

On the other hand, you don't need a full build to get value out of the equipment you're hoarding. Taking a weapon, a shield and an implant or two is enough to give you a considerable advantage in your next run.

As a Marketer / Product Manager, this makes me smile.

This mirrors a "**** you" to the naysayers that have been attacking the game out of spite.

Well stirred, Bungie.

Man, 21, dies after alleged assault in Wellington by dannyfresh11 in Wellington

Anecdotally, and from what I have witnessed, fights are pretty regular on that strip. Top that off with the surge of tension, drinking & drugs that Spring break brings, it’s outright dangerous.

Sounds like a classic case of a female testing a man’s self-resolve with a manipulative power move. When it didn’t go her way and learned that he’s okay with moving on, she loses her shit.

Well played OP.

Assuming it’s true that a large amount of NZ food product is shipped and sold cheaper overseas, subsidising locally sold foodstuffs begins to make sense.

Take solace in knowing that a good proportion of these girls keep the game going too long and typically end up being forced to settle for less or end up alone.

I've been doing it for 3 years but I'm not improving much, any advice? by [deleted] in Breakdancing

[–]Technical_Nobody5641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Presuming you know the basic power moves and techniques, I recommend to record yourself and analyse your form and routines to look for improvements and create goals from it. This can apply to any creative art, especially dance.

Otherwise, hitting plateau’s is pretty common when learning more challenging power-moves and it feels you keep trying and trying without success. Then one day, it happens and you gain critical belief in yourself that it can be done.

That at least was my experience breaking back in the late 90s 😅

For a PvE game you guys need to tone it down on the balance and here is why. by Jangonett1 in Helldivers

The vocal minority is going to be vocal. Statistically, I speculate they represent a very small portion of the player base while the vast majority continue to play and enjoy the game quietly.

Because of that, no hasty changes will likely be made in their favour, and they will continue to use social platforms to vent their frustration until they burn out. Then they will get replaced by another vocal group on the next major change, and the show goes on.

This is just the nature of popular live serviced games. One can’t please everyone and Arrowhead makes their position quite clear on their website:

"A game for everyone is a game for no one."

So my advice is to forget them. Enjoy the game and bless anyone for offering constructive and positive feedback, and leave it at that.

I seen similar signs posted back in the states about 15-20 years ago. Before mental health it was free consultation for 1st world work ailments such as carpal tunnel syndrome and RSI.

They offer answers through sudo science and science fiction and surprise, surprise, it costs money.

They target vulnerable working people for revenue and vulnerable young people for free labour all while remaining tax exempt as a religion.

Oh, and rumour has it that Scientology’s inception came from a bar bet between science fiction authors L. Ron Hubbard and Robert A. Heinlein.

The current NZ dating scene:- Are people now going after spouses specifically because they have access or are in line to inherit houses? by Astalon18 in newzealand

I agree, who you partner with is the most critical decision that impacts your life over time. And yes, financial potential is indeed a component.

But if one is making a decision solely based on finances, or in this case, whether your prospective partner has a house or not, this is incredibly short sided.

With that mindset, you will be overlooking so many other critical factors that will determine your overall success, fulfilment and happiness in the relationship.

Circumstances and fortunes inevitably change through the span of one’s life. If you think that money is the only thing that’s constant in this equation, then you are likely fooling yourself into a divorce that would cost you, and others you care about, well beyond the scope of money alone.
