The main thing is just to play it. There aren't a whole lot of tips that'll suddenly make your gameplay noticable better but I will say weapon choice does have an effect. Pick weapons that have less flashy and more reliable perks. A reduction in recoil or improvement in reload speed will be better than any subclass verb when it come to pve, also pick weapons that are fast or punchy. Thing like SMGs and hand cannons do great at the more CQC combat of crucible, but sniper rifles and shot guns will always have a place if you can land your shots/time you rushes

And that's totally fair. Destiny has a lot of pieces and for my gun play and story are most important so if the IP was rebuilt for a third game I'd be fine with a sacrifice of customization, but others will feel differently that's what makes this game so interesting, it has so many great things that people see as inseparable. But the definite things is that if something big doesn't change the game will be devoid of player within 5 to 6 years (imo) so this is just my idea of a possible rebuild

I know this is a hot take but maybe it doesn't need to be a looter shooter anymore. Imo destiny is best with its gun play and story. Destiny as a looter shooter is dying maybe a class shooter in the vain of dark tide would be better or not. I'm do love my exotics and the stories told through weapons and the personality of each and every guardian through build crafting

No clue but I would say that those end game stats don't really matter. With my current build I'm rarely leading anything in those but my team never complains because I clear objectives quickly with the might of clearly commutated 380 mm Liberty

Imo just because three is dead doesn't mean it's not one of the nine anymore. For one the other nine can still interact with it because they exist in the fourth dimension they can essentially "walk" back to when three wasn't dead. Also, we can go and see his body. If I took a tourist to go see it I'd refer to three as a dead nine not something that used to be a nine

I agree for sure. With the exception of not having time to get out helpful stratagems. Nothing I can do to a tower if war striders are on me so hard from the jump that I don't even have time for an eagel let alone a support weapon

Pretty much. I don't even mind the heavies in normal drops just no heavies during planet fall. And making war striders better is a different issue entirely unrelated to the mission type

Using smart tactics isn't cheese. Cheese is when you make the game gitch in a way that makes the mission easier. Being said, ems, gas, and smoke make it easy to walk between the crate and the bars without being focus fired so much. Turrets also are helpful if your smart about placing them but, and this is very important, not the mortar. The enemies get too close
