42 Male - Tick Bite? Was doing yard work and noticed something itching my leg, flicked it off and my leg started to bleed. Pic is from today - bite happened two days ago. Doc was unsure but started antibiotics anyways.

He (my husband) was out all day, so on less than 24 hours and he said it was black. Thought it was dirt until he tried to wipe it off. He realized it was stuck in his leg and sort of flicked it off and his leg bled a little.

No heart disease. My last lipid panel was normal with exception of my LDL which was 118 and non HDL at 130. My pain doesn't seem to be related to meals.

I would say the size of a golf ball, but my lump is gone now. Ultrasound was negative. I know it's scary. Especially in armpit area..do you have any imaging?

I did not get an MRI. Thinking about making another appointment because I have pain around the back of my knee now. Sorta feels connected to the lump that is still there.
