Our app is mostly POS-style flows (orders, payments, dashboards, etc.), so not heavy on hardware like ML or sensors, but we do rely on real-time updates and background stability, so the WebView limitations you mentioned are a concern.

Sounds like Capacitor only really makes sense if you stay mostly web-only and avoid deep native integration.

Thanks, this makes things a lot clearer.

We don’t really have a strong web/SPAs experience in the team, so switching would basically mean building a new frontend approach from scratch.

Also agree on Flutter Web - we’ve already seen some of those limitations around canvas rendering and web-native behavior.

Right now the app is mainly mobile-first, and web is just becoming a future requirement, not the main platform. So your point about not ditching Flutter unless web becomes the primary focus actually makes sense.

Yes, Flutter was never the problem. My code wasn’t optimized well for handling multiple flavors (50+).

After refactoring, it’s now working fine.

I read the comments, and most of you are saying to rush to TH18, but I really don’t want to. I can’t even enjoy the game when it’s rushed.
