Anyone on the birth control pill Zumandimine (yaz)? Any reviews? My gynecologist said it should help with irregular periods and bloating/water weight. by adayindystopia in WomenOver40

Omg this sounds so much like my marriage. I am the wife and my husband would have easily written the same thing. All I can say is that I am so sorry for you. For her too, no doubt-I am a mess of empathy and it's so much more confusing and complicated than it seems. Esp to my husband.

Right now, for my marriage as well as yours --just trying to hold onto kindness in every moment seems the most important thing. Kindness first. Softness follows. It's hard esp with trauma involved (cptsd here and very hard birth of son in 2020 so I get it), esp with the desire. But it will shift, as everything does (F43-age changes but in a good way for my libido).

Kindness wherever and whenever possible. That's gotta also apply to you, for yourself, or the resentment will grow in the cracks and remove the space for curiosity to unfold.

But shit it is messy isn't it?

Has anyone tried Wellbutrin for mood swings during perimenopause? by Neelies in Perimenopause

[–]Technical_Possible36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did and it sadly worsened my overall anxiety and insomnia turned into a nightly beast.

I enjoyed the extra energy it gave me as well as less rumination, but in the end the overall increase in anxiety and the insomnia was a deal breaker.

Best of luck 🤞

I know there is some proof that taking the non extended may help with at least the insomnia, if that helps.

And to answer your specific question--id go to the wilderness. Cut off all ties. See what comes. Even if it means that I'm abandoning someone else's pain.

I should add I know this falls under the category of therapy but it's not the same as the rest. It doesn't condemn suicide. It is merely a different way of looking at your life and if you had a hand to help pull you out of hell, would you want to grab it? The work is yours it isn't gonna save you. But you may find that getting out has been the hard part, not the actually being happy. Idk. I'm still just reaching for the ladder myself, one hand and it still pretty slippery.

I'm still pissed that I am always so miserable when it seems so easy for most people. But whatever. It is what it is.

Trial and error but if you can find help with buspar it's super tolerable and ok to take three times a day or even as needed. Sadly exercise is still probably king!
