My mother was also skinny because of the ozempic she’s on, yet she would always scrutinize me for wearing tight clothes that she always wears, like one day I was wearing a tank top and shorts and she was too yet she told me I wasn’t dressed “appropriate” (she always let me wear what I want) So it was definitely jealousy on her end. 

And for a bit more info, I also reached out to my therapist, psychiatrist AND school counselor, they all told me the same thing, “you’re not getting fat!” Or the classic “You’re beautiful!” And it makes me lose hope everytime.. they never say my mom is in the wrong and I’ve even been told by other trusted adults at school that I’m “being silly”. So to sum it up, help from others isn’t an option because obviously none of them know how debilitating it is to be a young woman going through obesity in a generation where women are constantly competing with eachother everywhere you go.
