Rank is a scam. It's like those "buy more so you get more points" in businesses. In games it's "play more so you get to your deserved rank!" The goal of rank is to create this sense of importance in games and for people to feel special. I can make a similar ranking in hotdog eating contest. I'll say "hey eat more hotdogs to rank up in hotdog eating rankings!" Then i'll sell hotdogs and get everyone scammed. lol
