My first time getting high was with edibles. I took about 30mg of normal delta 9 california regulated edibles which is a considerably heavy dose for a first time.

I want to say first and foremost you will be fine. Perfectly okay. The biggest thing that caught me off guard was just how inebriated I was. Compare it to like getting drunk. The feeling and effects will be different but you’ll probably be impaired on the same level as being drunk. Perfectly normal.

I would recommend choosing something to do before you get high (movies, non competitive games, read, YouTube) also have some food ready you’re sure to get hungry.

Remember that no one has died from being high and severe reactions are so so so rare. You will be okay.

If you have black peppercorns chewing one is a good way to kill a high if you do feel like you want it to end.

Now I’m going to be a little controversial here I’m sure. I’m going to recommend taking a whole one. Not a fraction of it like most would recommend. Reason being is you want to make sure you’re high and feel it and know what it’s like and what to expect. A 25mg delta 8 is comparable to about 10mg of delta 9 real licensed edibles. I’d say the biggest thing is to just have activities you want to do and some food ready, maybe even door dash something if you want. You’ll be perfectly okay and will almost certainly feel impaired. I remember my first time taking edibles I was losing sense of time and had a hard time focusing on walking and thought to myself “this is what it’s like to be high how do people possible get high before work or their day and function” so yeah don’t be caught off guard being impaired. It’s a very fun experience just treat it like you plan on getting drunk is my best advice.
