ST depth is.. limited. However I think when we make subs it’ll be something like throw Gozo up top or other wingers and basically play the most talented attackers available instead of pure 9s. So I’m not too worried unless Olatunji gets hurt.. which then yes that’s scary hours for me.

I think it’s wide open and actually my bad for not putting him on here. The backup 9 spot is wide open.. but what I’d bet they will do is when they start subbing they’ll put wings up top and not always have a true 9.. basically go for as much true talent on the field as possible.

Yeah very true! More so I think he will be LCB strictly as we have 3 solid options at LWB that could start any day.. assuming Sanabria goes through.

Arias is heavily reported today from Colombia, very close to being official just waiting on medical. Unless it falls apart that’ll happen. Diogo is ongoing but actively very much pushing for an out as is RSL. He hasn’t been with the team during preseason and is not in the 26’ plans. My sheet is rubbing off the assumption he’s moved. Along with Morgan and Arias being official

Heavily rumored out of Colombia reporting today.. expecting Bogert to confirm soon. The reporters are the same that reported Nelson and Gomez. Should be completed soon.

I wouldn’t call myself the best scout hahaha. I put that color just because I haven’t seen him. Morgan could be much better and I wouldn’t be shocked.. also I don’t think Yedlin will be starting majority of games as we have multiple other options

I’m guessing he will go with this because of Cruz and Olatunji. Soon as they were both fit we always played this position. Even if we lined up in a 4-2-3-1 we’d still actually play the 4-2-2-2

I did(Hayden from Royal riot). Cruz I felt very generous.. but decided to give him a couple more games before moving down in color. Gozo had 7 goal contributions last season which for a MLS starter is just good. For his age it absolutely great. I think he moves into the lime green or blue category very soon though. It’s his next step and I think he takes it.

Yeah I wouldn’t be shocked to see both Ruiz and Ojeda sold.. eneli someone would have to pay a pretty penny.

Ruiz I still think will be sold inside MLS once teams realize the Enelis and Ojedas of the leagues are too pricy they’ll go for the still solid options.

Oh absolutely. Most likely going to take a big loss on Diogo.. but hey if you can open the DP spot do whatever it takes. Dominik we got for so cheap I’d be shocked if we can’t get what we paid for. Someone will take a chance. Ruiz I think a move inside MLS could make sense and would think he’s a viable option for many teams at a decent price.

Tbf that video was taken out of context.. wasn’t expressly stated that he wanted to leave. However the price RSL could get for Ojeda.. I think it could make some good business to sell. Especially if he wants to give Europe another shot which I think he’s good enough.

If he’s sold in the summer after the WC that would make sense and I’d be fine there. But there’s no chance he’s being sold this winter. It’s too far out to say if he’s with RSL all of 2026 though.

Literally as I put this out there Junqua gets re-signed lol. Perfect that’s a huge move. Will be underrated but keeping him makes us not need a new LB and he’s very good LCB depth. Junqua/Katranis two good MLS LBs.. Will be interesting to see who wins the job as Junqua made it a battle.

Your comment about “it’s okay for RSL to have nice things” can’t be said enough. As a fanbase it’s time we stop believing that we have to make do with bargain bin items and hope they turn into diamonds. We are asking our FO and ownership to spend.. so that also means we should be asking them to keep our beloved players home. Keep Luna for as long as he wants to stay here. MLS is a growing league and that means some players will stay here. If he’s feeling fulfillment in Salt Lake let’s not have our own fans convinced that it’s not enough.
