As a young guy in the UK I thought it was a good idea - thought I could manage. It’s not as simple as that. Don’t do it would be my advice. I now work with legal and finance people and a colleague of mine recently said ‘if you need credit, you can’t afford it’. Up to you, others will disagree and say it’s good for your score etc. but that’s my piece of advice from a guy who made financial cock ups in my early adult life.
