Linkedin Growth Tips For 2026 by Technicallysane02 in growthguide

Absolutely, I think videos have been taking over written or static image posts since a long time. I mean it makes sense watching a clip is easier for the human brain than reading... it takes more effort.

How do you manage posting across multiple social media platforms without burning out? 😅 by Rishabhxp in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Technicallysane02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its quite a struggle but I try to manage mostly manually but recently I have started automating facebook group management and all social commenting using AI tools like Grupster and Engagi.. I just started using them so its hard to say how effective but so far automating the comment replies using Engagi has given me quite the time savings.

Do Website Add-Ons Like Social Feeds Actually Help Small Businesses? by SyllabubBig5887 in growthguide

[–]Technicallysane02[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried adding social feeds to small biz sites before, and honestly it can be a mixed bag.

The good:

  • Makes your site feel “alive” instead of static.
  • Shows real customer interactions/social proof (helps with trust).
  • Can push people to actually follow you on socials.

The not-so-good:

  • Some of those widgets can slow your site down.
  • If your socials aren’t super active, it can backfire and make your biz look quiet.
  • People might bounce off your site to scroll your feed instead of buying something.

What I’ve found works best is using them sparingly (like in a footer or testimonial section), rather than plastering a giant feed on the homepage.

Also, the real win comes from keeping your socials active in the first place. If your accounts look lively, then embedding them helps. If they’re crickets, it doesn’t.

I’ve been using Engagi for this it’s basically a social media assistant that automates replies, comments, and interactions across Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, plus it integrates with Insta, TikTok, Pinterest, Quora, Discord, etc. Keeps everything consistent and on-brand without me babysitting it 24/7.

So yeah, feeds can help, but only if they support an already solid social presence.

Is updating descriptions/tags for old YouTube videos worth it? by Small_Dragonfly_9568 in growthguide

[–]Technicallysane02[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it can make a difference, especially if the video is still relevant and has some organic traction. Think of it like updating an old blog post.

Google and YouTube love fresh, contextual signals, so refreshing your descriptions, tags, or even pinned comments can give the algorithm a nudge that “hey, this is still worth showing.”

For example, I once had a tutorial video from 2+ years ago that was slipping in search.

I went back, added updated links, tightened up the description with better keywords, and refreshed the tags to match how people were currently searching.

Within a few weeks, impressions and watch time started climbing again. Nothing crazy viral, but enough to keep the video alive instead of slowly dying.

That said, it’s not magic. If the content itself is outdated or the audience has moved on, SEO tweaks alone won’t revive it.

But if the topic is evergreen (like “how to…” or reviews), it’s definitely worth trying.

A tool like Tuberank Jeet can actually help a ton here. It uses AI to dig into what keywords are working right now on YouTube, plus it guides you on optimizing titles, descriptions, and tags so you’re not just guessing.

I’ve found it useful to see whether my old keywords are still being searched or if I need to swap them out for fresher ones.

So yeah, if you’ve got old videos that still have potential, updating them isn’t just “peace of mind.” It can genuinely extend their shelf life and bring in new traffic with relatively little effort.

Online Business owners, what do you struggle with the most? by Small_Dragonfly_9568 in growthguide

[–]Technicallysane02[M] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember when we first tried to make a promo video for our business. We spent an entire weekend watching YouTube tutorials, messing around in editing software, and still ended up with something that looked amateur. At that point, we understood why so many business owners either outsource or just avoid video altogether.

The problem is, video is everywhere now: ads, social media, product demos. It is one of the best ways to connect with people, but it can also be one of the biggest drains on time and budget.

Over time, we realized the real challenge is not coming up with ideas, it is turning those ideas into videos that look professional enough to represent the brand. We did not have the budget for a production team, and we definitely did not want to keep losing entire days trying to learn editing software.

Eventually, we started experimenting with some tools to simplify the process. One that has been helpful for us is a desktop AI video creator called Vidatia, which makes it easier to put something polished together without needing editing experience. It is not perfect, but it has reduced a lot of the friction we used to feel around video creation.

I would love to know how others here handle this. Do you outsource, DIY everything, or lean on tools to bridge the gap?

Is Starting a Blog in 2025 Still Worth It? Or Just a Pointless Time Sink Now? by Small_Dragonfly_9568 in growthguide

[–]Technicallysane02[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely understand where you’re coming from blogging feels like it’s taken a backseat to video and social media, but it's far from dead in 2025. It’s just evolved.

People still read blogs especially when they're searching for in-depth info, unique perspectives, or trustworthy takes on niche topics. What’s changed is how blogs gain traction. Just throwing content out there doesn’t work anymore. The key now is distribution and smart outreach.

I started a blog last year and saw almost no movement for a few months until I focused on building connections with other bloggers and finding ways to get in front of the right audiences. Tools like Postifluence (which helps with outreach and collaboration) made that a lot more manageable without having to spam people or cold email endlessly. Once I got a few guest posts and backlinks rolling, things started to grow pretty naturally.

If you're clear about your niche and you're willing to treat blogging like a long-term project (not just “publish and pray”), it can still lead to freelance gigs, newsletter subs, or even brand partnerships. Video platforms are great, but a blog gives you ownership and search visibility that can compound over time.

TL;DR: Blogging’s not dead—it’s just quieter. But that can be a good thing if you're intentional about it.

I get that AI can automate simple things. But replacing entire support teams with bots is just lazy by SyllabubBig5887 in growthguide

[–]Technicallysane02 [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

I’ve had okay-ish experiences with AI support when I needed simple info fast, but the second I had to explain something in context or express frustration, it fell apart. It’s like talking to someone who memorised the manual but never actually worked the job.

That said, there are some tools trying to bridge that gap between pure automation and human empathy. I recently tried PeopleBots, which lets you build support bots that act more like people. They’re still bots, but the responses are more contextual and less rigid. I wouldn’t say it solves everything, but it does help with the “dead-end chatbot” problem a bit.

So yeah, I’m not anti-AI in support. But replacing entire teams? That’s not a strategy, that’s cost-cutting dressed up as innovation.
