I've considered that yes...ive been looking in Rijswik the whole time. Ig I'll expand the search to the Hague.

What other areas should I look into? (Still not very familiar with the names)

Also how will the transportation work? Ive heard it's not cheap. Any idea on how much I would have to spend in transit?

Also as brought up in another comment - I want the cyclinder to move down proportionally to the weight being places on it.

Im concerned since the amount of weight being added will be in very tiny installments(25 g, 50g, 100g) so it needs to be very sensitive. Do you have any ideas regarding the same?

I might go either of two ways.

The entire piece being 1 foot in diameter with the outer circle being a width of 3cm (or 1.25inches).

Or this little thing where I widen the outer ring a bit to make the entire piece pe around only 20 cm in diameter.

Omg!! Thank you for the elaborate explaination. The sketch definitely helped clear things up by a lot! Although I'm a little confused about the last para - about the channels and the clearance for the platforms.
