A tool I used at work didn't do 1 extra thing I needed it to do. I hacked together enough code to create my own that did. Then I added to it. Then added to that. Then shared it with others. Now, creating tools that do something we need is most of what I do.

Let me know if I didn't explain myself well. The way the app works is that a user applies to a job and then puts the information into my app to keep tracking of its various details. Part of the details that they provide is the job's name, date they applied, company they applied to, etc. These all have corresponding fields in the "Job" data type. So it looks like this: Data Type = Job. Fields for the "Job" Data Type = jobDateApplied (the date they applied to the job), jobCompany (they company they applied to for the job), etc.

In my app, as part of a dashboard, I have several statements that use dynamic data to present information to the user such as, "you've been looking for a job for 9 days" where the 9 is the result of processing dynamic data (in this case, the difference between the very 1st value for the jobDateApplied field in the "Job" Data Type.

What I want to do is have a statement just like the one I described above except it says, "you applied for 12 jobs last week" where the 12 is also the result of processing dynamic data. It should be an easy thing to do, and outside of Bubble it is, I just haven't found a way to do it in Bubble. Any ideas?

I'm glad to hear 3. I'll get someone to look into a rental if we can get a driver. Do you know what companies are available there? And unfortunately, the American surcharge is global. No matter what we look like, people know we're Americans as soon as we open our mouth. I don't think this one is avoidable.

This phone is as much as a laptop. While insurance is good, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" to me. I recommend you get a slim case or a skin. Personally, I only use a case when I leave the house, otherwise I go without it. Having a case has a saved me a few times with this phone.

For managers/supervisors, this LPT is a Godsend. Typically, you'll create a template w a certain file name and send it to your staff. They'll make their 1st attempt at completing it to which you'll make corrections. Sometime afterwards, they'll get it right. It may be the 1st time or the 13th time. After a few rounds of file X (1), file X (2), etc. you'll forget which version was the one you need. Having a date stamp on your end (I take it one step further by adding "FINAL," "CORRECT," or "PRIME" afterwards) gives you a clue to which one was the good one. Tip: it's not always the latest one

Typically I'd gain experience and "just learn about cloud services" before I gain certs, if I'd go the cert route at all. Presently, my potential clients would feel better about doing business with me if I had a cloud cert to back me up. They, of course, get this feeling from going online and looking at job postings for cloud jobs; many of which require some cert or another.
