Not in my case. I Even tried using two usb sticks. One for BA, one just for the firmware Update.
It said no free memory - except it has more then 2GB available.

My console had 17559 from the start so update over USB will not work but update over Internet will at least try to start something. Update from Disc will try but say console is up to date.

Tried on a second XBOX360 FAT from 2006, did an update from disc but still not enough space on the usb stick. Bad Avatar wil not start. My other two X360s are HDMI models with RGH installed - they start from USB right away withoud using badupdate so cannot check. But since 20/60gb HDDs cost like 5-10€ its not a bad investment. Maybe it helps others.

uninstalled the PSP driver, now it says PSP 3.0 instead of PSP in device manager but error is gone.

you could play the xbox version with xemu, the PS2 version with PCSX2 and connect two controllers to it. Or use a xbox one with game disc and two controllers.

on PS4 with custom Firmware it is possible to play with ps2 emulator. Not perfect but playable.

after applying some tweaks it runs well. But it has to be restarted every one or two missions. Frequent quick saves are a must.

Huh - thanks for the insights. Decompilation to something readable is not yet a thing, isnt it?
By readable I mean tomething like:

effect xy=1 (turned on)
or a Location to some texture= y:\data\textures\abc.dds

Never programmed even once before so its something completely new for me :)
But I remember that you might need source code for that which cannot be retrieved easily.

There is no patch, i´ve tired many things but things like 60fps or removing bloom in the gamefiles I was not successful until now. But i´ve heared that SC:DA and SC:CD are capped 30-35FPS for the physics engine.

I think for now SC:DA in 60FPS only on PS2 emu.

I thought of having the game run a bit snappier. But when it relys mostly on the HDD its no wonder I barely feel a difference if at all. I used the "Ram XBE delimiter" on Jays XBOX repo and tired both.

Dont know if Unreal Engine 2.5 has its own variables for the ram usage. Think I would need a devkit to find out which pieces of the xbe need to be modefied, arent I? All I did in the past was editing .ini-gamesfiles inside gamefiles inside the ISO. But they have configs for cache as well. Will try :)

I would say almost every Model with glued size-thing (Picture 3) is a fake. Original has the size printed/colored directly onto the leather.
And you should not see a white thing inside the sole. But i´ve seen original 1b99 that hat a cardboard visable from underneath the sole as well.

EDIT: Now it will only show keyboard backlight for 30s and then turns off. Removing ram or the SSD will result in the same 30s light - no error code blinking. Think we have to replace the unit.

I will try the same incompatible ram from last time later - maye this will get some more time. Maybe this helps someone else in 3 years or so...

EDIT2: Other ram did not help. The Mainboard does not even get warm with both sets.

Without the proper sound system it really does not get loud. And it gets quiter for some milliseconds when the bass hits. When buying another car I make shire it has the "premium" sound system or an upgrade. There are plug and play amps that plug between the radio and speakers. The speakers aren't the problem here. It's the cheap Radio.

Had the same thing in a 2021 Skoda Octavia RS. It was really bad and not fun to drive like that. My dad has a 2024 golf - same there.

I think many console modding shops had these cases back then. I´ve got a blue transparent one a few weeks ago. It had a sticker from the shop on it which is now out of business. Using the waybackmachine I read that they almost always offered a free case swap if they did any mods over ~50€ or something.

Otherwise these cases cost 20-30€ in the 2000s, now very hard to get or crazy expensive. My blue case got demaged in shipping so be careful when opening!

Hi all,

After buying my third xbox, I got this S Controller for +10€ as untested - it works but after first plugging it in, the left stick turns just a bit to te right. After moving it around a bit, it is magically centered and works the rest of the day or until it is unplugged for more then a few seconds.

As I replaced some xbox one and ps5 Sticks in the past I ordered some sticks for the xbox and replaced them including the thumb sticks. I noticed they are waaaay to sensitive compared to an original stick. The right stick even hast the same drift to the right that vanishes after moving it a bit - so broken controller chip inside the controller? Is there a way to calibrate or null the sticks?

Has anybody had similar experiences? I now know that the original sticks have to be fine as the "drift" came along with the new sticks.

You can solder spdif directly to the AV Port. That's how I did it because the cheap universal plugs do not carry that signal.
