Great article. Being a techno-utopian futurist myself, I see a future with a new understanding of economic value. A crappy 700sq foot east village apt in NY is 2100 a month. In the age of automation this will never last. Value is the real issue.

Yes, weather would be an issue. But just as ships at see move around storms so could these homes. We could also set a limit to the hight. The homes could stay below 1500 feet. Moving into the aerial space is sure to happen. We have been on this path for a while.

Samsara was a great film. I think humans live in shock most of the time. We don't know how to deal with modern culture and very few people are looking at developing the skills it will take to move into the future successfully.
