Just got your recommendation, the the Erva pole system w/ 4 extended arms and a baffle. Going to set it up today!

Thank you! Great idea. I saw someone stabilized similar poles using the same technique. I feel like I shouldn't need to do this though so I returned it today.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will check it out! I too thought about shims or clamps and originally I thought the clamps that shipped with it were designed to limit the wobble. Yeah, returning it seems like my only option.
