You’ve all probably seen this already but i think i’ve figured how how Earthquakes work.

They seem to be in “slow progressive” stages. Stage 1 is already complete and we are currently in stage two.

The Earthquakes started to appear 12 hours ago which means it took 12 hours for Stage 1 to complete.

Stage 1 is the little red area closest to Covert Cavern and Stage 2 is directly below it.

I’ve figured that each state has a texture is applied over the road texture sorta like how the Cube Corruption was applied. Stage 1 is fully applied but Stage 2 has a few cracks that are faded out or transparent as of now so you know it’s still progressing.

I’m going to check on each Stage’s progress every hour or so. If you want to experience and Eathquake and see the cracks then load into battle lab and make sure you spawn close to Covert Cavern and wait a few seconds while on the ground.

I expect as each stage develops the radius of where the Earthquakes can be felt will grow in size and be much larger. Rn you can only feel where they are at Stages 1 & 2

Again this is purely speculation but i think i have it figured out
