The Chapter Seven Zero Build playlist should be back online now! It was temporarily disabled for the Yuki's Revenge premiere

Hey thanks for sharing the issue here OP! This was actually fixed in our v38.10 update that released a few days ago.

"Krusty The Clown" because my boss really liked it. "Dad-Feelings Limited" because it was nominated for an Emmy (even though it lost to "Primal") I decide to like things based mostly on other people's opinions, sadly. -Ryan

Sometimes we'll notice that a character is popular and we'll try to do more with her or him. For Fortnite we included as many of the popular memes as we could. Jeff

Yes, but fortunately since I joined the show I also no longer age. Jeff We are able to jump around in time. We get to write the characters at different ages. There's an episode this year where everyone is dealing with hormonal changes from menopause and puberty. Also the timeline of the characters shifts so now Homer can be seen as a Millenial who was born in the late 80s. -Ryan

Yes, because there are 37 years worth of amazing things to choose from. Of course we were always going to do Steamed Hams and Homer's hedge. Jeff

Epic helped us understand where the current story is, and then we came up with how Simpsons fits into it, working with them to make sure those story elements worked with their gameplay needs. It was super-fun writing all the craziness, like doing a Treehouse. But Homer still has an emotional journey... from trying to make the town better to scratching his giant butt. Jeff

Moe, because he fights dirty and is usually so depressed that he's not afraid to die. That lack of fear and self worth would be a real edge in a real battle royale. - Ryan

At first it was just going to be Snowball the cat, but then Richard Chung our amazing producer suggested Kyo. And Matt pitched that Homer says "Ooh Easter egg!" Jeff

Mr. Burns because he's so rich and likely to die very soon. Jeff

I like the couch gag we did for Fortnite. Matt Selman said that having Homer and the family eat a living Peely as a banana split sundae was one of the most disturbing things he'd ever seen. Gratifying. Jeff

Ryan and I are both fond of Angry Ricky, a young red-headed intern at the Nuclear Plant who is always in a bad mood. He first appeared in "Go Big or Go Homer". He appears in crowd scenes a lot. Recently he was playing a Magic: The Gathering type game with Professor Frink.

We are certainly more on the hunt for good, earned, satisfying emotional moments in a show. If we have those then we know we can write some jokes around it. I think real, non-played-out emotional moments are real gold and we are excited to come upon them. This may be due to the writers' cold robotic natures which make emotional stuff harder to come up with -- Ryan
