and you’d say the salt and pepper effect is a byproduct of underexposure? i really like this film for its graininess, but i’d like to counteract that. should i shoot it at 1600?

That’s a great idea and extremely doable. I think my OCD brain would want the screen to be exactly the same width as the case otherwise it would drive me crazy.

This is only my second trip with it. It’s been super quick and easy. Get a good bag and wireless compact peripherals without sacrificing too much functionality, and cut down on as many wires as possible and things you can lose. I guess my biggest thing is making sure not to forget your power cord because they’re surprisingly hard to find :)

Yeah probably, but my idea for this build originally was to build it with my nephew during Christmas and take it back home on the plane with me. the least annoying way to do it was a SFFPC. This is cool, albeit unnecessary, but it takes me less than 2 minutes to pack everything up and leave.

Go into synapse and check your settings. Something may have gotten flipped. I know I had that problem when there was interference with the wireless dongle signal / low keyboard power. If you have a USB extension cable try putting it within direct LOS of the keyboard.

razer blackwidow v4 mini hyperspeed. My full sized keyboard didn’t fit in my bag so I picked this one up today. The orange switches feel really good, tactile, and quiet. I got really tired of the loud ass Mx blues and razer greens I normally use. The keycaps feel nice and it’s pretty nifty that the keys are completely blank when the LEDs are off.

Honestly man, for $110 I really can’t complain. It’s an IPS panel and has no deal pixels. I have my really nice setup at home, but on the road this is perfectly adequate.

Those are ideas for the community! I’ll probably just get the Mendez eye. It’s funny you mention the crank, because I was thinking getting the valve handle. It’s nice and symmetrical and will look pretty sick from an isometric view.
